My sculptures are inspired by the creatures who visit my garden and the Washlands of Woodhouse beyond. I hand build them by pinching pots together. I use various tools to sculpt the details. They are coloured with oxides, slips and glaze and fired to stoneware. I also make carved vessels using the same method. Although produced in groups or families, each one is unique.
